These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Events Guru, Entry Guru, and HypeBuilder (collectively, the “Platform”), owned and operated by GURU GLOBAL LTD (company number 16734642). Our registered address is International House, 101 King’s Cross Road, London, United Kingdom, WC1X 9LP.
By creating an account or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use immediately.
1. About Events Guru
Events Guru provides a set of digital tools for event organisers, including:
- A landing page and event micro-site builder
- Ticketing and registration management
- Payment processing via Stripe
- Entry Guru for attendee check-in and QR validation
- HypeBuilder for generating branded event assets, including AI-assisted graphics
The Platform is licensed to you under a limited, non-transferable, non-exclusive right to use it for hosting and managing your events. You are not purchasing or licensing the source code or underlying technology.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally capable of entering binding contracts.
3. Definitions
- “Organiser” – A user creating an event or selling tickets.
- “Attendee” – A user registering for or purchasing tickets.
- “Content” – All data, media, uploads, prompts, AI-generated assets, and information submitted to or created on the Platform.
- “Services” – All features, tools, and modules provided by Events Guru.
4. Intellectual Property & Licensing
All intellectual property rights in the Platform, including templates, systems, AI models, designs, software code, and trademarks, belong exclusively to GURU GLOBAL LTD.
Users retain full ownership of:
- Event content (text, branding, schedules, speaker info)
- Uploaded media
- Ticket buyer data
You grant us a licence to host and process your content solely for the purposes of providing the services.
You may not:
- Copy, reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to export the Platform
- Resell or redistribute our software or underlying code
- Claim ownership of templates, design systems, or AI outputs provided by default
5. Acceptable Use Policy
Users agree not to:
- Upload harmful, unlawful, abusive, or discriminatory content
- Use automated tools, bots, or scraping tools to degrade performance
- Distribute malware or attempt to bypass security
- Send spam or unsolicited messaging through the Platform
- Attempt to access restricted, hidden, or private data
- Use the Platform to impersonate others or mislead attendees
Violation may result in suspension or termination without refund.
6. Subscription Model & Access Rights
Events Guru is provided on a subscription or pay-per-use basis. This grants you temporary access to the Platform’s features. You do not acquire ownership of any portion of the software.
When your subscription or event licence expires:
- Your event page may be unpublished
- Your access to editing tools may cease
- Check-in and ticketing tools may stop functioning
You are responsible for exporting any data you wish to retain before expiry.
7. Payments, Fees & Refunds
Payments are handled by Stripe. By using paid features, you agree to Stripe’s Terms of Service.
Fees may include:
- Ticketing fees
- Service fees
- Payment processing fees
- Add-on or upgrade fees (e.g., AI credits)
Platform fees are non-refundable unless required by law or explicitly agreed.
You are responsible for any additional charges imposed by your bank or payment provider.
8. Privacy & Data Protection
We comply with UK GDPR. Your personal data is processed according to our Privacy Policy.
We do not:
- Sell your data
- Display advertising inside Platform pages
- Share attendee data with third parties except where required to deliver services (e.g., email providers, Stripe)
9. System Maintenance & Downtime
The Platform may be temporarily unavailable during scheduled or emergency maintenance.
We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime.
In cases of significant unplanned downtime, service credits may be issued at our discretion but will not exceed the subscription fee for the affected period.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided on an “as-is” and “as available” basis. We do not warrant that:
- The Platform will be error-free or uninterrupted
- All devices and browsers will behave identically
- AI-generated content will be accurate, original, or legally compliant
You use the Platform at your own risk.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UK law:
- We are not liable for event cancellations, organiser behaviour, or attendee disputes
- We are not responsible for lost profits, lost data, or indirect damages
- Our total liability shall not exceed the fees paid to us for the affected service
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GURU GLOBAL LTD from any claims arising from:
- Your use of the Platform
- Your event content or conduct
- Any breach of these Terms
13. Account Security
You must keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for any activity conducted through your account. Suspected breaches must be reported immediately.
14. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account if you:
- Breach these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent or harmful activity
- Fail to pay required fees

15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales.
16. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
